Interior Inspiration #1

I thought I'd mix things up a little on the blog today and do something a little different. Being honest with myself over the past month or so, I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to have to move out of my parents house at some point. This is something that never really appealed to me until I realised I could live closer to the city centre as well as the opportunity to decorate my own place!

I'm feeling some serious monochrome, minimal vibes (with some colour here and there) and really want to get stuck in with some DIYs and decorating. If I move into my own flat/apartment its probably going to be pretty small so I'm going to need to give the illusion of lots of light and space.

My Skincare Routine

Hello everyone, I'm finally going to share my skincare routine after managing to get my skin back in check. I've been fighting with acne since November last year after several years of having clear skin. I've been using the Clarisonic since the beginning of the year and I've noticed a huge difference but I thought I should probably mention the products I've been using too. Heads up: its pretty Origins heavy.

I've been using Origins skincare for years and when my skin was playing up I realised I wasn't really using any of the skincare I used to love. So I picked up some old favourites from Origins as well as a few new bits along the way. I always take my makeup off using a cleansing balm at the end of the day, I like the Clinique offering and also the Camomile cleanser from the body shop. After this I go in with my Clarisonic and the Origins Checks and Balances Face Wash, I love this face wash as it foams up but it doesn't dry out my skin like a lot of foaming cleansers do. After this I tone my face with the Origins Make a Difference Plus Lotion and use the matching Make a Difference Serum and the Treatment Moisturiser. The moisturiser is gel based which I find really works wonders with my combination skin, it doesn't over hydrate the oily parts of my face and it doesn't leave the drier parts feeling parched, it also doesn't leave a greasy residue behind. Once or twice a week I'll use the Pixi Glow Tonic which seems to be working wonders with the scarring I have left behind, I can't use it continuously as my face seems to get a little irritated from it but it works great if I limit the use.

Instagram Makeup Roundup 2

Hello everyone, I thought I'd share some more makeup looks that I have recently created with you all. I post these looks on Instagram when I can and I'd love to know what you think or what kind of looks you'd like to see! Sorry things have been quiet on the blog this week, I just haven't found any time to sit down and write!

This first look was inspired by Rhianna's makeup that she wore to the Brits this year.

Cream Blush Favourites

Hello everyone, it's that time of year where the weather is going to start warming up and Spring is just around the corner. Although it's currently snowing as I write this post... I have every faith that March is going to get me in the mood for the warmer weather though! I thought I'd talk about my cream blush favourites as when the weather heats up I favour a more glowy finish to my skin.
