Huge Collective Beauty Haul!

Hello everyone, as you probably all know by now I'm a bit of a shopaholic.. So I thought I'd make a little post showing you some of the goodies I've accumulated over the past month or so. I also got these cute little baskets recently, and I thought they'd be perfect for snapping some haul photos!

I got a set from Mac's Christmas collection this year, I wrote about it in my last post so you can read my thoughts on it already! It's the Enchanted Eve lip bag in Pink. I picked up a couple of lip products from Makeup Revolution, a brand that seems to be gaining more and more popularity in the blogging world. These are the a Revolution Velvet Lip Laquers and currently I'm not sure how I feel about them.. I think I need to nail my application process so if you've got any tips when it comes to liquid lipsticks please let me know!

I picked up a couple of new foundations as 3 of my most used ones ran out all in the space of two weeks! Im trying to justify these purchases as essentials... I grabbed the L'Oreal Infallible 24 Hour Matte Foundation which I've never tried before and I don't have any complaints so far! Despite being matte I haven't found it drying so I think we might get along quite well. I also repurchased the L'Oreal True Match foundation which has been one of my favourites for a long time, I believe they've reformulated it but I would say it's mostly the same, if anything it feels a little more lightweight. It's also been repackaged into a more square like bottle which personally I prefer. For my birthday I also received the Clinique Chubby Contour and Highlight sticks, which I'm absolutely loving! They blend so seamlessly that contouring the face genuinely takes me seconds these days!

I decided it was time to invest in a face oil, for many reasons. I've been getting a lot of dry patches here and there on my skin and thought an oil might add some much needed moisture back into my face. The Clarins Blue Lotus Oil is pretty nice and I've been enjoying mixing it with my foundation. I also needed a new eye cream so this time I went for the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream, and while I was at it I ended up taking home the Pink Shimmer brick which I think is from the holiday collection this year. On a recent visit to TK Maxx I found a few sneaky Stila products that surprisingly hadn't been opened or touched by the general public. I found a Convetible a Colour in Fuschia which is actually a super pretty pink, I think it'll be really nice in the spring.

Speaking of Stila, I also found an eyeshadow in Black Diamond, it's a really dark grey with silver glitter running through it. I have to fight with the lighting at this time of year when taking photos (Scotland unfortunately doesn't see much sun any time of the year though) so I apologise for the awkwardness of this last photo. I picked up a blush from Urban Decay in Score which is a really nice everyday peach shade. I went for a new moisturiser to try and soothe my dry skin, The Aveeno moisturising cream. It's okay but I'll need to use it for a little while longer to make my mind up about it. I also recently got a new lipstick from Max Factor, I don't have much to say about this apart from the fact it smells really heavily of plasticine..

It's not until I've put everything together I've realised just how much stuff I've bought over the past few months.. Oops! Let me know which things you'd like me to make a post about and tell me if you've picked up anything good lately!

Mac Enchanted Eve Lip Bag / Pink / Holiday 2015

Hello everyone! I'm finally back with a proper blog post today, and I thought why not start things off again with a festive(ish) post. I always get so excited for all the brands releasing their holiday collections over the festive period and in particular Mac always has something that takes my fancy. This year they have a lot of lovely sets - as they always do- and they appear to be well stocked in stores (unlike my experience last year). I know a lot of the things are sold out online already but my local Mac seem to have an abundance of holiday sets so it's worth checking out your local store or counter if you're after some of the great gifts this year. I decided to go for one of the Enchanted Eve lip bags as they are all so pretty! I chose the pink one (of course) and I am so delighted with it. You get a cute little makeup bag, which unfortunately isn't big enough for my daily makeup selection but it's a handy size for carrying little bits and pieces. Everything from the holiday collections this year has lovely purple and blue hues to the packaging which I think is absolutely stunning. It was the lipstick in 'Goodbye Kiss' that swayed me over on this set, it's a beautiful cool toned pink that almost has a slightly lilacy tinge to it and it's a creamsheen formula so it's super easy to wear. The lipgloss in 'Frozen Dream' is also super pretty, it's a paler cool toned pink and it has the most gorgeous shimmer through it. And finally the lip liner in 'Just Wonderful', this actually reminds me of Soar from Mac but a touch darker and a touch on the cooler side of things, it's really pretty too and it goes incredibly well with the lipstick. It's a great little set and for £34 it's not bad value for money either!

Have you picked up great makeup gift sets this year?

Where Have I Been?

Hello everyone, its been a little while since I sat down and wrote a little something here on my blog. Theres been a lot of things going on for me lately and I just haven't had the chance to sit down and babble about my favourite beauty bits. My absence from my blog started around my birthday, I was just busy spending time with friends and family that my blog slipped out of my top priorities. I'm usually a pretty regular poster, and aim to add something to read here every 3-4 days. I'm sorry I've been gone, I hope to get back into my routine as soon as possible. As well as it being my birthday and me being super busy, I've been putting in a lot more hours at work since its coming up to Christmas as I want to be organised in advance - instead of feeling extra poor in January. I've been quiet on the YouTube side of things too but I have some new ideas I want to share with you all. Over my absence here I've made the decision to go vegan. This is pretty big for me as typically my diet was mainly meat orientated and I wasn't a huge vegetable lover. I want my diet to be vegan for health reasons mostly, but the more I educate myself about veganism, the more reason it gives me to stay dedicated. I'm thinking of filming vlog style videos to document what I eat and to just share my journey with you all. Its a massive lifestyle change for me and I feel it would help me along the way if I take note of my feelings and thoughts. I know these videos won't be everyones cup of tea but I plan to upload beauty videos along side these. Its also that time of year where I'm starting to struggle to take nice photos for the blog too, the lighting is just terrible - especially here in Scotland. Its quite disappointing as recently I feel I've found my way when it comes to getting the perfect shot. I'm planning this weekend to try and get some nice photos, so fingers crossed! I'm glad to finally be able to get back to blogging, I hope you all haven't missed me too much! Remember you can always follow me over on Instagram, I'm usually a lot more active there!

MAC Upward Lash Mascara

I feel like mascara is such a personal thing, everyone has their preferences and everyone has different eyelashes! For me, I like some good volume and a little length. This mascara really blew me away lately and I totally wasn't expecting it!

Usually with mascara I stick to the ones I know I love but when I saw this in my local Mac I snapped it up right away, simply because the brush looked really interesting (the packaging also makes it look like a giant lipstick). The brush is really short, plastic, and the bristles are really short too. Its completely different from your traditional mascara wand, and I think thats why I love it. It does wonders absolute for my eyelashes. My eyelashes are naturally pretty long but this takes them to a whole new level. As well as being amazingly lengthening its adds a decent amount of volume too, giving it the perfect balance once applied. As the wand is so small and cute I find I can really get right into the corners when applying it and coating my lower lash line is an breeze. It can end up a little clumpy if you apply too much, but for me one coat is more than sufficient to get the job done. Typically I would apply 2 coats of mascara but I really don't feel the need when I use this. I haven't found it to smudge or transfer either, which is pretty impressive on my oily eyelids. Its an all round winner so I highly suggest giving it a go if you get the chance!

Max Factor FaceFinity All Day Primer

Extending the life of my makeup is definitely a priority, I get a pretty oily T-zone so I'm pretty much willing to try everything and anything to make my makeup last all day. I've not heard too much about this primer but I know there are a few bloggers out there that swear by it, so on a recent visit to Boots I thought: hey, why not give this a go.

It has a completely different consistency from what I was expecting, it kind of feels like foundation but a little tackier once its applied to the skin. I was expecting something silicone based that would feel very smoothing but this isn't anything like that at all. In terms of filling in pores and lines, I can't say I notice a huge difference but it definitely lays down a more even and adhesive base before applying foundation. I do find my makeup sits a lot better over the top of this, it generally seems to apply more evenly which isn't a bad thing at all. It contains SPF 20, and although I'm not a believer in the addition of SPF to makeup (I don't feel like you'll ever feel the difference unless you pile it on) its a nice added extra. Personally I have mixed feelings about this. Yes my foundation applied more smoothly, but does it extend the wear of my makeup? I really can't say. My makeup still seems to break down just as quickly in my T-zone yet on the drier parts of my face I don't see any patchiness when I wear this. I find this works best for me if I apply a separate primer over my T-zone but then I feel like that kind of defeats the purpose. I'll use this until its completely empty, but I don't see myself rushing out to buy another bottle. Its nice, but I feel like my oily skin is just too much for it to handle, however, if you're on the drier side you'll probably adore this.

Whats your favourite primer?

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipsticks

Hello lovelies, if you're looking for a product with beautiful packaging to swoon over then you've come to the right place! I think now is a good time to write about these, as even though the shades I own are perhaps more summer appropriate, these lipsticks would certainly make for a very luxurious Christmas gift.

I have so much love for these lipsticks, they just tick all the right boxes for me. For starters, they look absolutely stunning on my dressing table as the packaging is just perfection. The gold combination along with the lipstick colour being visible on the outer of the bullet makes for something that looks very beautiful. YSL has always been a brand I look too when I want to treat myself as most of their products really are just wonderful and these lipsticks are no exception. They have a kind of sheer formula but not super sheer that they don't pack any colour. Once applied they have a beautiful shine to them without being overly slippy on the lips and pack the perfect amount of pigment. They're great to wear for everyday as they are not drying or uncomfortable once on. Admittedly as they are not a totally matte, they do require a little more touching up throughout the day but I guess thats the sacrifice you make with any glossier lipstick. I love no.6 for day to day as its a super pretty peachy-coral colour that is so easy to wear. No.15 is a beautiful bright fuchsia that I love when I'm going for a bold look, I've also had my eye on no.19 for quite some time too!

Primary PS Love Beauty Loose Eyeshadow

If you watched my haul from a few weeks back you'll know I picked up a little piece from the Primark beauty line. A few people have tried out some of PS beauty and there seems to be some hit products and some that really aren't worth spending your money on.

This eyeshadow doesn't appear to have a name or a shade but it looks like a very pale pink in the tub. This was only £1 and I really wasn't expecting much from it, but I thought why not just give it a go and see how it turns out and its not nearly as terrible as I thought it might be! In terms of pigmentation, it doesn't really have any.. When applied to the skin you really can't see any of the pink hue coming through. Its pretty much a super fine glitter which I'm actually not that sad about. Christmas is just around the corner and adding a little sparkle to your makeup is a great way to make things look a little more festive. Its hard to come by a finely milled glitter on the hughstreet so I'm actually pretty chuffed with this purchase. I always apply a primer to my eyes before any eyeshadow and this seems to hold up just as well as any other eyeshadow I apply. All in all its not really too bad, yes there isn't much pigment but a pretty glitter isn't something I'm sad about owning!

Urban Decay Brand Focus

I was looking through my makeup stash recently and I noticed that I've accumulated quite a few Urban Decay products, and a lot of them are in my daily routine too. Its amazing how sometimes you don't realise how much you like a brand until you're rummaging through your things!

Urban Decay have some really amazing products, and they have loads of things I want to try too. Everyday staples for me are the Naked Skin Concealer and the Primer Potion. Their concealer is the best I've ever used and I genuinely can't get enough of it, I think I'm on my third tube now! Its super high coverage without being cakey or heavy which is perfect for combatting my dark circles. If I wear eyeshadow (which is pretty much everyday) I need to prime my eyes as they have a tendency to get pretty greasy! The primer potion keeps my eyeshadow in place all day and prevents any creasing as well as making my shadow look nice and vibrant. I've been using the Naked Skin Foundation a lot recently but its always been a favourite. Its medium coverage but doesn't feel heavy at all and it has a really light, blend-able consistency. I've also been using the Brow Beater to feather in the front part of my brows as, as its a really skinny pencil it allows me to mimic the look of hairs keeping my brows looking nice and natural. I love their Revolution Lipsticks too, especially the shade Turn On which is a deep mauve-plum kind of colour thats perfect for this time of year. These lipsticks are really creamy and non-drying with a satin-matte finish - beautiful. Lastly is probably everyones favourite, the famous Naked palettes. I'm not even ashamed to say that I own all of the Naked palettes, they really are that good. The quality of Urban Decay eyeshadows is amazing and I'm yet to find a brand that rivals them palette wise.

Makeup Revolution Flawless Matte Palette

Today I haaaaave to share with you this amazing palette. I think in terms of what the high street have to offer makeup wise, matte eyeshadows are seriously lacking. A lot of the matte shadows I do come across just don't perform quality wise and they're often chalky or hard to blend. I picked up this palette after falling head over heels for the original Flawless palette and I wasn't really sure what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised when I got this home!

Whats great about this palette is not only the quality of the shadows but the great shade selection you get too. 32 matte shadows all in one place is like a dream come true, theres pretty much every shade you could ever need for a transition colour and so much more. Theres a lovely combination of cool tones, warm tones and some neutrals in there as well which really makes this a very versatile palette. When I begin an eyeshadow look I always start off with mattes and then add my shimmers later, this palette provides all the matte shades I could ever need to start off a neutral eye look. The eyeshadows themselves are very soft and buttery, admittedly they do have a little fallout and can be a little dusty when you swirl your brush in them but other than that they blend really well and the pigmentation is great. I wasn't hugely impressed with the black shade here but the rest of the palette makes up for it so its not really an issue for me. Its a great little palette and especially great if you want to experiment with different looks, I love it and for £8 it really is amazing.

Beauty Blender Pure Solid Cleanser

I can't be the only one, but I genuinely hate cleaning my makeup brushes and I especially hate cleaning my makeup sponges. I always feel like when it comes to sponges I can never get all the product out and cleaning anything in general always feels like such a chore. On one of my recent Beauty Blender purchases I got a sample of their Solid Cleanser, and honestly, its changed everything.

I never thought I'd see the day where I'd happily pay £14 for a bar of soap but honestly I've never been able to get my makeup sponges so clean. I just wet my sponge a little, swirl it around in this soap, massage the product into the sponge and rinse it clean. Genuinely, every last bit of makeup washes away - its like magic. I use this with my Beauty Blender and also with my Real Techniques sponge and it cleans both equally as well. This also cleans my makeup brushes really well too, admittedly I found I went through the soap fairly quickly when I cleaned my mammoth collection of brushes but they were all squeaky clean and none of them were dried out or ruined. I think I still prefer baby soap for my brushes but for sponges I can't see myself using anything apart from this solid cleanser in the near future. I did try a few regular bars of soap to see if they'd compare but not one of them got my sponges as clean as this did. The Blendercleanser also has a really nice, light lavender scent that keeps my sponges from smelling weird or like makeup. I seriously love this soap (of you can't already tell!).

My Custom MAC // Makeup Geek Palette

Hey lovelies, I thought I'd show you around one of my eyeshadow palettes today. I have a magnetic palette from MAC which I have filled with my depotted and pan form MAC and Makeup Geek eyeshadows. I love seeing what other people have in their custom palettes so hopefully you guys enjoy reading this post as much as I enjoy peeking inside your palettes!

I love warm toned eyeshadows and I also love plum and purple shades too but generally I'm a fairly neutral gal so without further ado, starting with the top row from left to right..

Mac Omega, Mac Naked Lunch, Mac Cranberry, MUG Cocoa Bear
MUG Bitten, Mac Mulch, Mac Daydreaming, MUG Cosmopolitan
Mac Fig. 1, Mac Dynamic Duo 4, Mac Club
Mac Stars N Rockets, MUG Peach Smoothie, MUG Creme Brule, Mac Dazzle Me

Some of the Mac shadows are limited edition so if you can't find something on Mac's website then thats probably why (I'm sorry!), but most things I think are still available! In this palette I also keep my Mac 'Emphasise' powder which I use to set my concealer under my eyes sometimes, and also a powder foundation from Stila that makes a nice natural bronzer on my pale skin. Some of my favourite shades that I own here are Bitten from makeup geek as its such a pretty burnt red colour, I'm going to have so much fun creating autumnal looks with this! I also really like Club from Mac as it is a duo chrome, meaning it looks green in some lights and brown in others. It adds a little something different to your typical neutral, smokey eye. I love both Makeup Geek and Mac shadows and would definitely say they're on par with each other in terms of quality, MUG is more affordable and they have loads of dupes for Mac eyeshadows too! I hope you enjoyed seeing whats in my palette, please let me know what your favourite eyeshadow is!

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Bath Tea

Hello everyone, today I thought I'd chat a wee bit about a product thats completely new to me. Obviously I've tried it out and its not new to me now but the whole idea was something I'd never really experienced before. I think nearer the beginning of the summer (I could be wrong) The Body Shop released their new scent - Fuji Green Tea. I typically wouldn't have reached for a scent like this but the product itself really intrigued me.

I can't say I've heard of such a thing as a bath tea before, but after trying out this one I'm definitely keen to try out more bath products in the same form. The Fuji Green Tea scent is a beautifully fresh scent that still has a lovely warming undertone, making your bath smell refreshing but not sterile which I adore. The idea behind this is that you pop some of the Bath Tea into the little strainer and let it steep into your bath water like how you would with a regular drinking cup of tea. Its a strange concept but it worked really well, the crystallised granules of the tea dissolved into my bath water turning it a pretty blue-green colour. The tea leaves stayed in the strainer and my whole bathroom was flooded with the beautiful scent. There were no bubbles but I added a little scentless bubble bath and I was good to go. Its a very relaxing scent that really aids in de-stressing after a long day and green tea in general has lots of added benefits to your body and skin. After my bath I felt very clean and calm and my skin felt nice and soft. All-in-all I think this is a pretty cool and unique product, and I love how chilled out it made me feel in my bath! I love the cooler months as its the perfect time to start re-introducing baths into my routine.

My Lip Liner Collection

Kylie Jenner lips are on the rise and before the whole fuss about Velvet Teddy lipstick and Whirl lipliner from Mac I'd never really been one to line my lips all that often. Over the past few months I've branched out and tried a few different liners and I'm definitely on the band wagon for longer lasting lip colour.

Some of you might look at this collection of lip liners and wonder how I survive but the six I've gathered do the job. I think from my trialling Mac has come out top as the liners they offer seem to apply to my lips much easier than some of the others, but there are definitely some great contenders. I find when I use a liner my lipstick lasts much better, especially when its applied all over the lips before I go in with anything else. Going from the left to the right of swatches.. Maybelline Colour Sensational Lip Liner in 'Sweet Pink' is a pretty peachy nude that sits well under most of my day-to-day lip colours, its a little drying but nothing too noticeable when paired with a lipstick. Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lipliner in 'Black Tulip', this is a pretty berry kind of shade that actually applies to the lips really nicely and lasts a long time. Rimmel Exaggerate Automatic Lipliner in 'Red' - super imaginative name - is a true red shade, this liner is a retractable one meaning theres no need to sharpen it. This liner is pretty creamy and I find it doesn't last as well on the lips compared to the other lip liners I've tried. The Sleek Eua La La Liner in 'Raisin' is a very vampy dark colour, being as pale as I am I can't wear this all over my lips as personally I think its a little too extreme. Its easy to apply and has a slightly waxy texture which I think aids in its wear time. I love using this to add dimension to some of my berry lipsticks. My current favourite lipliner is Mac's 'Soar' Lip Pencil, these pencils apply to the lips so well and last pretty much all day which is why I love them so much. Soar is such a pretty pink-brown shade that sits under my favourite lipstick from Mac which is Mehr. Finally another lip pencil from Mac in the colour 'Beet' this is like a berry-red colour that really brings out the beauty in all of my plum coloured lipsticks.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer

Today I have to chat about this concealer! I've been a Mac Pro Longwear Concealer girl for a long time, but this pick from Urban Decay rivals the top spot. I did a post about my favourite concealers that you can read about here, but personally I think this blows them all out the water.

Firstly, I'm a fan of the shade selection that Urban Decay offer with this concealer. If you're pale like me then look no further as I can promise all your dreams have been answered. I rock the shade 'Fair Neutral' which is perfect as its not too yellow or too pink and theres not a hint of orange in sight. Its a pretty full coverage concealer - much like its rival from Mac - but this feels so weightless on the skin. I've never found it to look cakey and it blends into my skin so seamlessly that sometimes I look in the mirror and think I'm having a good skin day. It comes in a handy tube too, and the kind-of-giant doe-foot applicator makes applying this to your face a breeze. I really do love this as I can genuinely apply it anywhere on my face, it hides my dark circles and doesn't settle into any lines or crease throughout the day and it covers any redness or blemishes without batting an eyelid. I really couldn't ask for any more - my prayers have been answered.

An Ode To // Revlon Lip Butter

Hi everyone, today I want to share the love for another product that I've kind of neglected a little lately. The Revlon Lip Butters used to be my go-to for lips on a daily basis but I've found myself reaching for other products more often that not. I've been doing a few forgotten favourites posts lately, instead of doing a gigantic 'Shop My Stash' post I thought I'd break it down so I chat more about why I love the products!

I don't really know why I stopped reaching for these lipsticks as they really are wonderful. They have a really easy to wear formula thats mostly sheer making them great lipsticks for everyday wear. They're also super moisturising and don't dry out my lips at all so I really have no reason to have neglected them! I currently have four lip butters in my collection, and I love each of them! 'Candy Apple' is a pretty red, which applies a little more pigmented than the others that I own. Its a really wearable red as its not a full, opaque matte meaning its much easier to pull off - especially if you're just branching out into red lips. 'Cotton Candy' is a pretty, pale pink colour thats great for everyday. It has a little bit of shimmer running through it but nothing too crazy or noticeable. 'Creme Brule' is probably my least favourite, its a very beige nude that I feel doesn't really suit my complexion so I find it works best when I mix it with other colours. 'Peach Parfait' is probably one of my most worn lipstick ever, its a beautiful peachy coral colour thats perfect for everyday. Its also a pretty good dupe for Mac's 'Patisserie' but we'll keep that a secret... Personally I think my 'Peach Parfait' has seen better days so I might have to replace that fairly soon!

A Space NK Wishlist

As your fellow beauty junkie, I thought I'd share the products I've currently been lusting over with you all today! I don't know if I'll end up purchasing all of them as it would make quite a dent in my bank account, but we can all dream right?!

Space NK is one of my favourite places to shop for beauty as they really take the time to pick out and stock some truly amazing brands. Unfortunately I don't stay near a Space NK store so a lot of my shopping is done online, but its still a great experience overall. Lets get down to business..

1. Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation - I hear a lot mixed things about this foundation and so many people tried this when it first launched. From the reviews I've read I think it'll be great on my oilier skin type and provide me with some nice full coverage without looking heavy. Obviously I cant say until I've tried it but I have high hopes if the day comes!

2. Kevyn Aucoin Super Soft Buff Powder Brush - I felt this brush when I last visited a Space NK store and it was the softest brush ever! I think it would work amazing for powder or liquid foundation as it has a really nice density to the bristles. It has a pretty steep price tag at £48 but I imagine its worth every penny.

3. Clarisonic Mia 2 - I've wanted to try the Clarisonic for so long and I think I might end up treating myself to this at the end of the month as I really want to get into better skincare habbits!

4. Nudestix Skin Concealer Pencil - This is another brand thats been getting quite a lot of love recently, and the idea is that your entire makeup bag is pretty much made of pencil form products. I don't know if this idea is something I could fully commit to but I think a stick form concealer would be a good place to start!

5. Caudalie Instant Detox Mask - As someone who fights with clogged pores on a regular basis I'm always keen to try new masks and products to help battle this! Caudalie is a lovely brand and all the other skincare bits I've tried from them have really went down well with my skin so I think I'd get on quite nicely with this mask!

Thats it for my wishlist today, I hope you enjoyed reading this post and maybe I'll do more like it soon!

Wheres your favourite place to shop for beauty? Have you been eyeing up anything lately?

Nars Satin & Velvet Lip Pencils // Forgotten Favourites

Hey everyone, today I thought I'd do another post chatting about some forgotten favourites of mine! I'm noticing that a lot of the things I forget about are lip products.. probably because I'm a lipstick junkie and have too many to cope with all at once haha! Regardless, I do purge my makeup collection frequently and rid my stash of the products I really don't show love to anymore. This means that what I am left with is all the stuff I really love, and these Nars pencils definitely make the cut!

I think the reason I forgot about these is that most of the shades I own are more Autumn/Winter appropriate, which works out pretty well as we're pretty much full flow into fall right now. I love the cooler months, simply because I love dark vampy lips and cosy scarves! My favourite shades of the Velvet Matte pencils are 'Never Say Never' and 'Cruella'. NSN is a really pretty plum colour that is so easy to wear and not too stark against my pale skin. Cruella is a gorgeous deep red that screams Autumn to me, it has a really nice blue base which means it emphasises the white in your teeth as an added bonus. I love the matte formula of these, they wear really nice and don't dry out my lips what so ever which is always great. They glide onto the lips really well too and don't drag or tug when you apply them. I also love the Satin pencils as they're super easy to apply on the go - especially the nude shades. They have a much creamier texture but aren't overly glossy, something I'm a big fan of! My favourite shade is definitely Lodhi as its just a really easy wearable nude. I also really like Yu for the summer as its a super bright blue based pink! I honestly do love these lip products and its going to be great now that I can crack out some of the darker shades now we're into the colder months.

Have you ever tried any Nars Lip Pencils?

Some Of My Favourite Instagram Accounts!

Hi guys, I wanted to do a slightly different post today! I thought I'd share some of my favourite Instagram accounts with you all as its my favourite social media platform right now. I follow so many accounts there (probably too many) and decided it only makes sense to share my favs.

Fist is Kate (@gh0stparties), she has such a pretty account and she also has a lovely blog too. Her snaps mainly consist of blog photos and pictures from her day to day life. She's a pretty good photographer too and always inspires my blog photos.

Lauren's account (@laurenschroer) is also one I check out frequently, her photos are bright, fun and generally of a positive vibe. She's a graphic designer too - which is totally up my alley!

Huskies (@huskies) has got to be my absolute favourite right now! I personally love these dogs and think they're super adorable so this account is perfect. I do however follow an unhealthy amount of cat accounts too but I thought it would be weird to make a post dedicated to all my fav kitty instas!

Linda (@lindahallbergs) is an amazing makeup artist and I really love her work. She's such an inspiration to me and her account displays some of the amazing work that she does. If you're getting into makeup or you're an aspiring makeup artist her account will be right up your street.

Last but not least I find myself on Trendmood (@trendmood1) quite a lot as they post about all the upcoming makeup launches and collections that are coming. As a Mac lover their account keeps me up to date on release dates well in advance (meaning I get time to save my pennies!).

Please let me know what your favourite accounts are! And if you're an Instagram user let me know your username and I'll happily give you a follow. If you want to see the interesting things I post about on the photo based site you can follow me at @claresloves and you'll be the first to know when I post a new blog entry! I know this post is a little different but please let me know if its something you'd like to see more of in the future, I'm thinking of doing a post dedicated to my favourite blogs soon too!
